It's acting a bit weird too. Doesn't always acknowledge that I've read a new post. Lots of things missing. Maybe the web hosts restored it back to an older version?

And... the marquee/scrolling banner with event announcements won't let me click and go anywhere! It stops when I hover over it, but no clicky clicky sos help

We've made those changes on purpose.

I am sorry, we will have to tell you.

We crashed, burned out and are out of finances. We -very suddenly- lost another friend, so more loss, and also, we are SO out of money that we can't keep afloat.
This and the other forums we have, are taking ALL our time, and as we don't get paid for any of it...

Let's just say, we too need food.
We've hidden those topics, they're not gone. We can turn them right back on, but for now, we need to make sure we survive first.

It's not like we can start charging you entrance fees, (free forum, should stay that way) but we do need help, and as no one can help but us, we need to save ourselves.

I'm not very eloquent with words at the moment, I feel horrible. too much loss, too little money, and no energy left.

This forum won't close, no need for that. But the Every day ALL day energy we've put in it... is not possible right now, until we've got enough money to live.

Simple as that. And I hate it. I hate it I hate it, having to fight to survive.
But there IS no choice.
Losing another "friend"... or at least we THOUGHT she was a friend we could count on... it has severely hit me in the face. It's such a rotten feeling when we've invested in that person for six years, and then, when WE need some help... nobody home.

I've got some emotions to deal with before i continue, and the food, well, no one can go without food and rent.
Shitty thing to have to give priority to, especially when you thought you had a serious friend you could count on in emergencies.

xuse my language, but loss SUCKS big time.
