Christmas Nights Empty Christmas Nights

Post by Brookeham Wed Dec 21 2016, 17:07

This is going to be difficult....during the holiday. Eek

To finish whole event:
   17,625 - Poinsettia(9hrs)
    1,800 - Stars (drops)

I may have to pull everything to make those amounts. Anyone have any strategies???

I thought the same thing when I saw the numbers, Brooke. sos help  The only thing I can think as to why they'd give us a 9 hour crop is that they recognize that most of us will be totally swamped the next 4 days, with little time to farm.  As to drops, I'm seriously hoping they intend to give us good drops.  Otherwise, we'll be Scrooged Christmas Nights Grinch-smiley-emoticon and this event will be nothing but a lump of coal in our stockings. ZAP

LOL spots!!! whahahaha I adore your grinch!  clap clap You're probably right....put in poinsettias and then run off to finish wrapping...is going to be my strategy for the next few days. I love the shopping dancing ...but not the wrapping.  Nope
Do you remember the community city lighting debacle?  :hmz:

The good thing is the we can do the event in any order, and same requirements for each square. So just start with the prizes you like the most and see how far you get  red smile

I put refined carnations in CF Monday night so they would be ready thurs morning I hope 12ss12 strategy works for me :) she always seems to get good first initial drops then after the event starts I'm not sure yet if I'm going to plant long crops overnight or if I'm going to grow event crops till I have all that I need then plant long crops for drops :) I will start the first seeds on 2x2s water SG manure and SSG till I have enough to put all 1x1s on all my fields

It will take almost the whole time (18+ harvests), and you need to have all plots to get the full amount ~19,473 (total crops received if just grown with water), not sure about drops.  If they are not generous I would go for what you want and forget the rest.  I think my numbers are correct.

Edit:  I forgot the CAC.  thud

This Event will run over Christmas. As Many of us will be very busy getting ready for Christmas or too busy Enjoying Christmas or Busy Travel to visit loves ones over Christmas.

6 Days to get 1800 Festive Stars that is 300 Festive Stars per Day. This will be very hard to do for many of us will be unable to Harvest our farms to keep Farm Idle Times as Little as Possible.

We have no idea what the drop rate of Festive Stars will be just as yet !! Since it be Christmas not many farmers will be able to send Festive Stars as Gifts Reason is simply too busy to do it.

The only alternative to make up for shortfall is to consume of Super Grow and Do some Nuking of Crops Refinements using Comfort Fields....

Anyone who has not or will not Plan Ahead for this Event will not going to get very far with this Event. With it mostly likely just do what i can with this Event.

Even if you have good drops of Festive Stars at start of this event you can still struggle to get the remaining Festive Stars during the remainder of this event.

Even you nuke these Poinsettia with Super Grow and Water and Manure it will still take a small while to grow since these are 9 Hour Crops.

We need to grow 17625 Poinsettia.

1) It is 100% Must that we need to use CAC to be able to Grow 17625 Poinsettia during the Whole Event at Least 4 Days if  you are able to reap your farm 3 times a day
2) We need to use All 5 Fields with 1 x 1 Fields 24/7
3) It will take a while to Build up Stock of Enough Poinsettia to plant Poinsettia in All 1 x 1 Fields
4) I do not think we can do this event using any less than using 5 CAC at Least for this Event
5) For |Certain Manure will run out in the Markets in No Time. If you have Manure Upgrade Runes unlock to increase storage of Manure up to 550 Manure Storage Limit but need to consume a fair amount of Stars to do this But will be hard to buy manure in the markets or it will be very expensive to buy in the Markets at half way stage at Least

Those of you who got a Smart Phone or Tablet is to make an Excuse to need to use the Toilets when your Farm is Due to be Harvested wonder how many will use this excuse three times a day in between our Christmas Festivities  :HoHoHo: :zonked: :milkncookies:

The farm will activate a single CAC prior to the first harvest.  If the drop rate is insufficient to complete the entire event then cheap PJ will be used and the rewards selectively chosen.

At the moment anticipate using 10 SSG and a max of 250 SG.  Water will be used if can harvest on time and definitely no poop but on the first two event junks harvests.

From this point the result is "come what may" and no interruption to what I'm doing in RL as usual.

I wish this were a 48 hour junks crop.   farmer

And if I catch some Santa sliding down my chimney then that Santa needs to be ready to do a little Holiday junks harvesting.

Don't give up Irisa red smile

What did you plant to be ready for the event to start? Did you move your trophies to each field prior to harvesting?
