CC's: how much to accumulate

Sorry if this has been posted somewhere before, but I'd really like some advice. 

Because I had so much hoarded in tree fruit, I have been able to climb up from below 1m cc's to 24m - which is a lot to me, but I'm sure it's nothing to a lot of long-time players. I've been running around 5m, spending down, and building up again, but this is the biggest balance I've ever had.

I realise that the advantage to having a large stockpile of coins is that you can buy whatever you need for events or quests, but how much is enough? 

Should I be aiming for hundreds of millions, or perhaps billions?  

Is there a point in keeping a large balance, or should I just continue to spend down whenever I find cheap bargains that I can re-sell later at a profit? 

Farmer Broke will be laughing at this, I'm sure. I suspect him of secretly maintaining a Swiss Farm account in trillions of cc's.

Hm, interesting question. I too have been wondering. I can only tell you my experience. 

I have been up to 85million Cc as my maximum, and I wanted to get higher.... BUT...then an event happened with the need to buy BREEDING animals.... because I didn't have powerfeed, nor RL money to buy pf, i couldn't breed, but, as I did have 85million cc, i thought I'd buy the breeding animals on the market instead. 

That used up everything, ... I was left with 15 million, and I haven't had the "want" to replenish that again  by wheat growing. (market I'm not very good at, and my market sucks) 
But, by growing wheat, with cac and oatbread and those happiness serum and stuff... and some refinements too, brings it down to six, (or even 4, i forgot) minutes for wheat. 

Cress is a good one too now to make a lot of money, IF you have the time and energy to do it. 

My New Goal with cc?... 

250 million. (should be enough?  )

Whenever I make money, I buy whatever I want and for the rest I invest. Not reached one billion yet. But have managed to reach 60 to 70 millions every now and then.
