Being a lazy farmer? Confession....anyone? Empty Being a lazy farmer? Confession....anyone?

Post by Brookeham Wed Feb 01 2017, 02:03

I have a confession to make girl blush .....sometimes, especially if I've just leveled up, I don't go around and click all my pets(owls) before I harvest. shock faint This isn't just b/c I'm in a hurry...it is partly because I DON"T want to. LOL whahahaha I'm just that lazy. big grin whistling

Does anyone else have a confession?? Something naughty or maybe an oops they make??

Don't be shy.....we all have our moments of forgetfulness or plain slap forhead moments..or is it just me?

You're not alone, Brooke hmz2.  Not only do I rarely click my pets (owls on all fields but Shipwreck Bay, crows on 3, pigeons on 5, dragon, woodpecker, squirrel, pig), except Pinkie Pie of course, always click her and the pigeons; I sometimes leave fields empty or partially empty if I need to change them out and just don't feel like doing it. guy blush  And I've needed to rearrange Shipwreck for several months now to put out best EP givers, and just haven't done it, lol.

(Mentor Brookeham, this note is from your chick spooky_broke)

Dear Mama Mentor Brookeham,

You have allowed this far to remain in your nest for about 15 months now.  I know I should have level up long long long long long time ago.  You have always been so kind and sent me gifts so that I will build a nice far someday.

I apologize for taking so long and have likely reached my limit of luv points to help you shop.  cry 1  If you would like I can begin paying rent.  I promise to air condition our roost real soon.  The plumbing and lights are working well and the carpet is on order.

But I really do not want to go anywhere. comfy chat

forgive me

LOL... good thread. I'm lazy about pets too. Usually I only harvest them twice a day when I harvest my CRs lol, and of course I rarely have anything else ready to harvest within the teeny weeny pet buff time frame  boh

Even tho I have lots of EP boosting buffs in the pantry... I'm too lazy to use them very often... that's just as bad as neglecting to activate pets right? lol  thud

MeMeMe Oooooh just thought of something!  ghehe  I am going to tattle on @farmer_broke farmer since he didn't confess... he told me he lets his chickens sit in poopy pens for months sometimes!!! waiting  Tsk Tsk Tsk, poor lil chickens  oh the drama

LOL Spots, You should know that GuineaUp is a neighbor of that farm too!

I'm certain those chicken pens have not been harvested in over seven months.   im sorry

The farm can only work BAHA and the rain forest because it will get ep and get tosed out of the nest.

Sometimes BAHA and rain forest cannot be harvested for a week if event drops come from there.  (drops turn into ep).   taptap  The elephants sit in poo for a week!

I luv the farm especially since Mentor Brookeham has given it a comfy home.

All of the neighbors have had stars by their names for months .... but that's ep!

Luv the "Virtual chicken abuse"  description.

I'm so glad to hear I'm not the only lazy farmer!!!! What a relief!!! I am really motivated to click all my pets when I'm getting close to leveling...but when it's a field of carrots...nah too much!
spots - Me too! The Park and Shipwreck Bay are the worst for me to re-arrange. But every April 1st...3/4 of my park disappears. This is when my premium renews..and my 1st credit card on the list is an old closed one.....so BP takes away my park. I used to hate this...but now it forces me to reevaluate my givers/decos and put the highest ones on it.

farmer & Spookie broke - Oh NO don't leave the nest!!! Nervous You have been my only active chickie for months now!!! The nest would be so lonely without you!!! And YES I am still receiving love points(how appropriate) heartbeat from you my sweet wittle chicka-dee!!!! kissy Let's set a record for longest chick to stay in a nest!!!! win

GuineaUp just told me that one of her farms started in my nest and got you as a neighbor while still in my nest!!!! We are such a happy family!!!! comfy chat

I'm embarrassed to admit I've been a very poor mentor lately. girl blush   Things here have been nuts since December (well, since last March, but stepped up the tempo late in the year), and I just didn't do a very good job getting messages to my 2 active chicks.  1 hit level 40 and seems to have left the game, but one is still playing and I'm trying to make up for my neglect now.  All my other chicks have either been blinking or half way there when I get them thinking, which hasn't helped my motivation either.

I listen to you all talking about being chicks in each other's nests, and it makes me want to start a new farm so I can be someone's chick, lol. ghehe  I don't dare, tho, barely being able to keep up with the 2 I have now, and I know me, I'd never be able to leave it just sit once I left the nest. hmz2

Spots I haven't gotten a reply from chicks in months. Even though I keep deleting them once the bar is filled. But the new ones never answer. And what worries me more is that they never level up. We know BP gave up on this feature, so don't feel bad about it. We can't do much else!

My way of being lazy is just having 10h givers. SO I only have to harvest twice a day.
In fact, I want to get as many 20-22h givers this coming B&T so in some areas I have to go only once!

LOL Spots... I wanted to start another farm too, especially after getting absorbed in the mentor thread on the DS a while back, just to be a lucky chickadee... but hell's no's... I can't farm without the machinery, and I refuse to buy 3 subscriptions LOL. Considered it (for minute) but I've been too chicken to become a mentor myself...    WHAArun after reading everyone's struggles and frustrations with it.

Esca... whahahaha  you crack me up...20-22 hr givers so you just have to harvest 1x a day...??? I'll gladly give all your 8,10,12,16 hr givers a new home this G&T then LOL

Are there very many givers that are 20 hours?

I also haven't had an active chick in months. Lately, most of mine are already blinking red when I get them on level 3.
