Frappe Ole! Empty Frappe Ole!

Post by GuineaUp Wed Nov 22 2017, 13:13

Farm coins seem to be the main reward from this event's CR... I really don't need them, but I know a lot of us do. Haven't done the maths for crops and drops... hoping someone else will chime in on that  counting

I will chug thru the event tho, cuz I can't say no to a CR, LOL big grin . Looks like we have lots of goodies to go after, and at least we can produce manure on Baha and either save some CCs or make some CCs if we want making money

How's everyone prepping their farms to maximize drops for this one ?  Just curious.

I don't see a way to calculate how many crops/drops as we can't see what is involved with each pipeline required.  Plus it will be different as you can choose your own path and leave out certain rewards to minimize how much you have to grow.

With BP focusing on Farm coins, there has to be something coming that we need them for. My farms would welcome a boost but will get a late start due to Thanksgiving and visiting family. We'll see how it goes....

Honestly, my farms are in all trees to make harvests easier during this busy time. Will leave them out as that is the easiest for me right now. Right? Wrong? who knows....easy peasy is what I need.... ghehe

Thanks for starting the thread Guinea!  heart

I too have many farm coins, but will definitely go for this CR - never know when we will need all those coins, plus I do spend every month on pf.

Since drops only are coming from main land, I will leave baha as it is and plant Gentiana all over main land for initial harvest.

I like that one is somewhat allowed to choose the way through each level to pick and choose the goodies worth going for, for each farm.

Good luck to those going!

I'm all over the place with my field prep... I just stabbed in 1/2 a field of CFs w/SG and the other 1/2 with 1x1s (of fox millet, my longest crop), and then some perimeter 20-22 hr rare trees on all 3 fields. We'll see how I do. Gonna have some wasted/idle time on everything, but oh well... gonna be busy cooking n baking don't know

Follow the link and the 4th or 5th post contains the easiest way to finish each level.

I'm out in the Rocky Mountains for the weekend.
Will do the event on Monday.

It looks like post 23 by Alba has the amounts of what is needed for each level.  20 straight and 13 curved, etc.  At least that is what it looks like to me.   scratch head

Based on that post it looks like we need:

10,730 pipe bamboo

1060 wrenches

251 straight pipes
186 curved pipes

Level 1 is not noted on the post.  So more is needed for that.

OK I went thru each map multiple times and counted all the pipe pieces, lol... ugh  counting   im okay

Looks like Alba counted wrong 4 times on the curved (bent) pipes. Here are my totals... I think they are correct, going by the map of Level 1 from the FAQ and the 9 other maps in Choujisan's post #7

Level 1
8 straights
9 curves

Level 2
13 straight
12 curves

Level 3
31 straight
24 curves  25*

Level 4
30 straight
21 curves 22*

Level 5
25 straight
21 curves

Level 6
35 straight
24 curves

Level 7
31 straight
27 curves

Level 8
29 straight
21 curves

Level 9
27 straight
16 curves 15*

Level 10
30 straight
20 curves 21*

(My) Grand Totals:
259 straight pipes x 22=5,698 pipe bamboo
259 x 2= 518 wrenches
197 curved pipes x 28=5,516 pipe bamboo
197 x 3=591 wrenches

11,214 pipe bamboo
1,109 wrenches

Well I may not have done it right either... but I got bored and started counting, and kept counting/recounting until I got blurry eyed, lol rub eyes . I'm seeing different figures coming from everywhere tho, so who knows lol.

I was trying to calculate how many harvests we'll need to do once we have enough to fill all 3 fields with 1x1s (to get thru all 10 Levels once)... looks like 6, I think. (Where is @Decree  !)  scratch head .

The long crop will fit RL til the Turkey Day madness is over, but after that I see boredom setting in real fast lol  dedtired
Wonder how high manure prices will go  monster cookie

I thought/hoped you could skip prizes on any level - but you can't.  Bummer, some stuff I just don't need and it would make the event go faster.   xmass stress
