That animal trophy

I have been playing for nearly 2,5 years and I am still trudging through the animal trophy! I'm now busy with 12/15.

Any advice please? Best animals to use? 
Also, now I want to save my Baha animals for the Crystal Falls quest.

What is the highest Baha animal you have open? Do you plan on purchasing any animals from the market or growing them all yourself?

Penguins and seals have the best ev ratio on my mkt.

Okay. I would still go with baha animals. I would produce rabbits or chickens, sell them and buy penguins and seals for donation. No main land animal on my mkt can beat the ratios of penguin and seal. But up to you of course   
Is it because you want to raise the animals yourself and not use the mkt?

Both penguins and seals have very good donation value. Seals are even higher than any level 1 breeding animal so with meba's method, you will knock out the trophies in no time.

The reason I asked about marketing vs growing is because my Mom is a 'DIY'. I was able to get her to use the market for Crystal Falls and all those products needed for the quest, but for the animal trophy she wanted to grow them herself. At her level, koalas were best. Hippos have better value but limited pens meant she would be growing forever. So...harvesting koalas twice a day and using Jasmine Bubble Tea (gives +1 on koalas), she was able to meet her goal quickly. This has been a little while ago and we've had new animals introduced since then but just an example to offer you a different perspective.

G'Up- that is exactly how Mom did it. Full fields. She had plenty of feed so easily done.

I don't really want to raise them myself - busy with other quests, I think must use the market for this trophy.

I can't harvest twice a day. I work full-time, and every 2nd week I work Saturdays, so it seems the market is the way to go.
