The Lynx (begins 04 January 2018)

And we're off to another event year.  

The first thing is that there is a new animal.  The pen is 15,000 ccs after the event.  For 500 Nettles (which will remain in the game after the event) the broke farm will get four (4).  

Event junkies will get a cloud row if they grow about 13,500 permanent junks (Nettle) and get about 750 drops.  Only grow on the three main fields.  (It looks fine to me.)

hmmmmm .... pretty soon I won't even have to farm at all.  Sign in, harvest the brean stalk and go on.   

The broke farm has CAC running anyway so I'm for sure in for the 500 permanent junks (Nettles).

I scanned the faqs again and see there is a call for about 20 lynx.  Please don't think I'm more of an idiot than you already do when I tell you this:  

Just feed the lynx pens power feed ... ya know, like I do the chickens for a treat.  hmmm I had better think about cranking up that mill.  hmmm Taking applications for "broke idiots of 2018."  Initiation task is to use power feed for the lynx.      Anybody joining?   Don't be shy, just tell us.   

I'm in too!!!!    Throwing my name into the hat for "broke idiots of 2018"!!!!   I will be feeding my lynx pf to reduce the grow/throw part of the event.

Am I the only one who thinks that they may disable the PF feeding option during the event?  Just seems like such an obvious loophole to shortcut through the event otherwise.

they aren't going to disable the PF I already asked a mod :) and I'm all in too cant wait to get the stalls and workshops :))

From a glance, I believe you one can work the event for under 25 power feed (depending on the order it is done).

"...Why would you not do that?"  This event is furthering the marketing scheme.  This is now a mature game and it has clientele who have gotten accustomed to spending RL money.  First Beeps gets the customer breeding selling them power feed and then leads the individual to breeding outside of baby boom and now the push is to get the customer to use the power feed they sell in order to speed up animal housing OUTSIDE of events.

We do not even have to chase a drop if we use all power feed.  But if you want to chase them then BEEPS will sell you them too.  

And stars are just being given away at every chance.  I would not be surprised to see stars being used as part of selling in the market.

While it may seem like not much PF to do this event, I need all my PF for the breeding events and they are high in PF requirements and usually stingy in PF rewards. The lynx on my farms will not be treated to premium feed but rather will have to wait for those plants. They may jump the farm fence onto one of your farms for tasty food. If they do, will you please send them home?

I will not use PF either unless I'm stuck, as I save it for breeding events.  May be somewhat slower, but that's not a worry for me. Hopefully, my lynx will love me and stay home.

I've kept my manufactories and menageries in. They are great little drop generators! Plus those high level quests are taking forever!!!! My FOCD forces me to try to finish quests!!!

yay I got the 4 lynx and 2 workshops :)) I'm glad this event is pretty easy going :))

I'm trying to make the "paw pops" and donate 1st...then will go back and donate lynx's. I'm having trouble keeping enough lynx in inventory to make the pops.

can someone tell me how long the 200% on the farm wheel lasts? I cant find anything about any of those wins from the farm wheel in the forum
NEVERMIND I FOUND WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR :))

Done - can't believe how fast that went - used PF on lynx pens, regular feed on workshops.  The levels were laid out to make it easier to complete quickly.  Wonder what happened with BP - they don't usually do that.
