Tree of Wisdom, the reach for the stars

As a veteran Newbie I am very much interested in stars, golden bananas (but not in this thread) and how to spend my stars.
I tried to find my old star tree thread on BP, but no luck. So first a recap (in case a proper newbie stumble in here)

Main objective : Bahama + Rainforest
2nd for me was the twin rune for the baby boom
3rd the trophy rune in the top of the tree

Then came the artisan's confectionery rune (thanks to woody, you are missed) as I really would like to make my own cac again, the sooner the better.
I also have done the higher price rune as it became annoying not to max in on the ridiculous prices at times. (and I have cashed in the frog rune during a breeding event, I confess , I've done them all since the alien cows)

Now..... I have 80 stars burning in my pocket, and I fear they will turn into little white dwarfs or worse red giants, if I don't have a plan for them.

Any ideas ? Menagerie or factory ? Do I do the tree house ? Save them ? Not sure I know how to save, but if you guys explain it very slowly and detailed I might catch on

Save a few for the cat breeding.  You can get 20 cats, 10 PF some Pheromones and a "single pen" which should be called a corral for displaying your animals.  Good to put in the park with a high level breeding animal you don't want to sell or breed by accident.  It will cost you 55 stars.  If you have enough cats and PF, and you really want a storage unit, I'd go with a Menagerie.

Others may have differing opinions. 

BTW, your title of Magic Tree really confused me because that tree is called the Tree of Wisdom and there is a deco item (no longer available) called a Magic Tree.  It might really confuse a newbie newbie too.

I am on the fence for the cats, they have claws, proper claws and food manners. One vote for the menagerie.

I too would go for the menagerie. It is amazing how much it helps, to be able to put 4 stables on one footprint.

Soon enough you will have loads off stars left over in youre pocket right now have over 2600
left and my tree is compleet

I would like to give you this tip if youre still working on youre tree
When youre going to use stars on the Artisian part do it smart
as soon as you have one Artisian you can make it with the for example the bakkery or florist within a few weeks to level 3 at least but it will take some investment
As soon as its build you can buy Crafting trade if you have the florist buy 5x white unnocence and improve youre skills with them every day till you reach level 3 at first
if you have a second Artisian availible say bakkey do the same here but then with Pinkie-pie
as soon as you reach now level 3 you will get the third Artisian for free 
All the cash you need for all this is very cheap if you buy and sell smart on the market
but thats a hole other story called " market bargen " just try to make some easy money on the market and within a few months you can have 3 Artisians in level3 as extra you earn stars
5 stars for every level up with Artisian because you will have to finisch the quest for every level

It is not that easy, I've been playing for three years and still need many stars to complete the tree. That's with finishing almost every event in those three years and completing most of the non-breeding FSQs 

Buut, there are plenty of runes that are nice to have, but non-essential. So if you make good priorities as a newbie you can quite quickly have the most important runes! Just ask sleepy 

I think I got all the important ones. As an experienced newbie I knew the bottlenecks, or so I like to think. At the moment the only artisan trade I'm interested in is the jam factory. I tried to do 3 trades, but ... well - one is hard enough. So prioritizing is the way for me. That is also why I need to tap into your excellent knowledge base  (aka brains), save me some wonder and ponder.


Thanks for believing in my ability to do "smart trades" in the market, Dutch. For some reason I never get the hang of it, I keep forgetting to even go into town. Never mind clicking on the market. Love reading about it tho.

With building youre Artisian the right Artisian Faq for the values
in the first level of any artisian you can already buy products from all 5 levels
seek on the market the ones with the highest values and lowest price
For example the florist
Autumn arrangement  cost  over 100.000 CC on  and upgrade worth is 180 (my market)
5x 100.000 CC a day   5x 180  900 a day for upgrade

White innocence  cost only 8.000 CC also with an upgrade of 180 points each ( my market )
5x 8.000 CC a day   5x 180 = 900 a day for upgrade

iI know this is working i used it my to get all my artisians in level 5
Keep an eye on the market when its cheap then buy a lot if you can next day prices could up

But for every market the Prices  are very different so choose the a cheap product with the highest reward
