Some members have a problem with post being marked as read while they did not read them. This involves the blue and green birds before each topic.
The little green ball only shows if you ever participated in a topic.

The reason is not entirely known when and why this happens. We have tried different things but are sure on a few causes for that to happen.
- If you log-off from the forum, all topics are marked as read next time you log in
- If you have auto cookie cleaning it is highly likely to mark everything as read.

We have tested several computers here and even rebooting keeps my unread topics unread.

so basically what you are saying is that you have deleted some of my welcome posts thereby leaving the green dot, just so I have to visit and post a new message?? 

I only saw 2 threads that had no balls (seriously..  we need a different name for these!!), even though there were many that I had not posted in..

or maybe it's a glitch..

I think someone has just been testing out there moderation on me...

Nope we did not delete a thing. If we delete something, or it needs to be done, we will always send a message to ask or to tell why. And both Tookie and I know about it.

Even if we would delete a post and it is the only one in a topic the dot should go away. So sorry to say, that I do not know why you should see green dots if you did not post in them.
