The Bake Off

Just finished the Valentine's Event and now The Bake Off starts tomorrow. I had it written down as starting on the 23rd and thought there was a day in between. Silly me!

Just read the FAQ and so confused about it.....

There is no event crop right? But drops don't come from crops either. FAQ says trees, stables, workshops and breedings. There is a Happy Harvest day tomorrow so are we supposed to choose between extra EP and having out stables and trees for drops? Since we need wheat, cucumber and apples, it looks like an intense babysitting the farm event. I'll have to see what mix of stables and trees, along with a field available for wheat and cucumber will be optimal.

Is it one cake voucher per game?

It looked like fun in the rumors but I'm not sure now. I can memorize cake ingredients but I'm sure to mess it up for the  3 cakes (9 ingredients) in only 5 seconds.

Off to read the FAQ again to see if it gets any better.....

There's no day between, because they extended the current event to make up for the down-time. But these new instructions are making my brain hurt! lol

I am definitely in on this one. No junks growing    all I have to do is harvest as usual.

But oh....memorizing those ingredients in 5 sec might get me into big trouble   and making them on time too might also be a problem 

Anyways I am looking forward to this and hope to find an easy way to remember.

5 seconds??? 

I am going to prepare my field for drops. It is empty. What shall I put ? Trees or workshops/animal stalls ?

20h trees, or workshop with more than 20h. 
Then after the first harvest, someone should try out peacock stables. To see how much they give. 

You will get these drops when harvesting your 3 main lands (main farm, green meadow, magical glade) and the 2 tropical fields (bahamarama, rainforest) from harvesting trees/stables/workshops/breedings

How many breedings will give one drop?

My steps

1 Take picture with your phone
2 Memorize first cake
3 Do first cake without looking at the phone
4 Do the other cakes looking at your phone

Note: Use the boost items (milling product) only for the 3 cakes order

That's a great plan-
However doing all of that in 5 seconds??  
Hmmm......

 I activated workshop buffs and put 42 hrs, 36 hrs & 27 hrs and 24 hrs workshops and also animal pens > or equal to 24 hrs with trees on outerside. Hope I get good drops.

I've put in trees. 

Magical glade: Jumbo trees     with edge of xxl apples  (I'm low on appels) 

Meadow: A mix of my highest ep giving XXL trees 

Meadow: 2 menageries; (6 & 8) badger, moose, deer, reindeer, ladybug, bat red & 8 peacocks in the other. + 2 manufactories; (4 & 4)ostrich egg + angora wool 

Main Field: half pink & red chickens, and half high EP xxl trees  

Main Field: 2 arboretums (8 & 6 ) 
    

Bahamarama: (low on banana's)

The compensation package... reasonable, and not bad that they give out coupons. Bit stingy though... could've given two 48-ers. (or I'm just being greedy...  ) 


The latest event with the cake: ... I too was planning to hit print screen... (the windows scissor tool is extremely handy... instant image on screen)

I have peacock pens out so ill let you know how many drops they give me :)

Boy, this reminds me of the old cake mania game.  5 seconds for 3 cakes will be insane when we get high enough to get those orders.  I wish I had a cell phone camera thing.  I will be making mistakes on those orders.  Getting farm all set up now, thanks for the hints.  Good thing Baha has been trees for a while.
