Re: Messages to Sleepy and Tookie
I'll give it a try and see what happens.
Thanks for the help. As of this post, it seems things are back to normal again.

On a desktop computer? Are you using Firefox as browser? Seems a common problem there.
There also has been a keyboard fix update for Windows 10 itself, if you are up-to-date we can rule that out.

Re: Messages to Sleepy and Tookie
I also use IE for this forum.
Perhaps that is the common factor?
Lea- I changed the mouse settings as described above and now am not having problems with typing here. Good luck!

Re: Messages to Sleepy and Tookie
It seems both Windows 8 and 10 have some additional mouse settings that can be annoying a bit... It could be that the cursor is trying to jump to the beginning of text fields, as they thought it would be handy for the mouse to jump fields automaticly when filling in forms and such online.
@cylentlea123 For your laptop you can try to turn your mouse pointer off while typing. Then it does not move as it is simply not functional when typing.
In the taskbar search box type: mouse
This should bring up the 'Mouse & touchpad settings'
You can try adjusting the Touchpad delay settings there, but I think the next will help more.
Click the 'Additional mouse options'
Click the tab 'Pointer options'
In that window try these settings:
un-check 'Snap To' option
check 'Hide pointer while typing'
We do not recommend using IE at all.
It's the most difficult browser to properly code the forum for. If anything is not working, I can usually bet it's Internet Explorer. Most functions will then work perfectly in all browsers, but not in IE. Usually means adding extra coding to get IE to work too.
