That's exactly what has all the locals so outraged... the lack of urgency to get it fixed and fixed correctly.

Funny that you say the Chinese would send 80,000 and get it done... back in the California Gold Rush Days this area was highly populated with Chinese that ran a lot of the local businesses in the in all the Gold mining towns. I think they worked themselves to death tho, and the population slowly diminished as this area ran out of gold to mine lol.

With today's technology (Oosterschelde kering being a prime example) it's ridiculous we only have a few Tonka Toys working on the dam issue here. They really need to kick in the forces and get to work dig
