I think her pc has trouble seeing Gifs, and without checking it out, I wouldn't know why. Probably cleaning and java and adobe and browser updates or sumtin'...

I promised her help, but we've both just not gotten around to it yet. Neither our bodies are very accomodating to us, nor are timezones ;-)

My mom is a computer numpty. She really doesn't understand what a thumb drive is. ghehe

Sorry for laughing at her, but my Dad worked on computers in college (graduated 1962). Anyway, my mom has a service, run by my nieces step-grandfather on her mothers side, to regularly run her updates, like windows, do complete scans and do other maintenance. At least once a month and sometimes more often. Not sure how much it is, only reason he does it for my mom is she is family, his clients are commercial.
