Back to the future: I thought the harvest event was the HH, and it would be a throw and grow. Or more like grow and throw event for us sane farmers, and the others would throw and throw and then totally lick clean their barns ? There was in the grapevine some crops for that event, was there not ?

There are two parts of HH.  The first one is for most of us as we don't have the inventory.  It may very well be a grow and throw.  The second part starts after the first part is complete and is really only for the brave and well stocked as there is no limit.  It consists of people trying to donate more in EV from their barns to be in the Top 1000 donators when the bell rings and the event is over.  There are some special rewards for those that make it but like an online auction, you can be "outbid" at the last second and all you've donated is for naught if you are #1001.  We do have some here that plan to attempt it but I'm not one of them.  I plan to be one that makes CCs from those that are as I can sell all those Parrot Feathers I've been hoarding all year.  (Typically one of the best CC cost to EV ratios you can get.)

Both of you, there are a lot of options you can turn on and off, and it's all behind the top menu. 
Look at the top of the page, where it says: logged in as....

Click that button. A menu with options will open. 



Molly, I think you will want to go look at "edit my profile" and then "Notifications" and turn some on. 
 
Ming, the black line that follows you, is because you have added a signature. Everybody who does, get's the separation line. And you can turn the watched topics off, in notifications and watched topics, behind "edit my profile"  ;-)
