Re: Pnp
Thank you Tookie! Today I feel a bit better. No nausea and am now actually looking forward to having a birthday. Sister is hosting at her house so I only have to show up. Twin will also be here and we can celebrate together. It feels a bit odd to not have the family here but I am grateful sister is feeling up to it. She is still having horrible reactions to chemo but doesn't want her kids to have to delay Christmas just because I am recovering from surgery.

Thank you Marly, AniE and 12ss12
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas too!
Marly - I pray that whatever keeps you and your twin sister apart is healed so that you may reunite and be sisters again.

Re: Pnp
Wow, a lot going on for you. My brother in law's birthday was Dec 23rd and everybody used to try to combine his birthday and Christmas into one. You are probably used to the same - you know me, I just can't let it go at combining 2 event - I have to go for the record (alert the Guinness folks) - here goes:
Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas, Get Well Soon.. um,
Happy National Eggnog Day, er..
Happy (belated) National Pfeffernuse Day (Dec 23)....and of course tomorrow is
A'phabet Day (no "L")
... ugggh - sorry about that one (not really)
Wait ! Don't get up, save your strength for recovery; I'll do it for you
Sincerely, get better soon and in the meantime, enjoy the holidays with family and friends. Many years from now, may it be one that you look back on with fond memories.

Thank you so much Pete, Brooke and Willow
Pete, you made me laugh.
Thank you all for the well wishes, balloons, gifts, cake and hugs.
I had a great time with family. I'm tired and achy. I'm icing my shoulder and will go to bed early and hopefully catch Santa delivering all the good things for Christmas morning.

Thank you hatzeva! Our little family (hubby and kids) celebrate this morning and then we will do exactly what you are....comfy clothes, leftovers from yesterday's gathering, Christmas movies. Right now only daughter and I am awake. Waiting on the men.....
Sister got a 10 lb box of dog treats (Milkbone biscuits) for our dogs so we have to figure out where to keep it to keep her out of it.
