Hurricane Again!

the state of Florida is watching ANOTHER hurricane could be a category 5 by the time it gets here even if its not a 5 its supposed to be huge a lot bigger than Hurricane Matthew last October I hope they are wrong and it doesn't hit us again  ill be praying for EVERYONE in the path of this storm including Lesser Antilles, Purto Rico, Bahamas, and Cuba and ALL of Florida 

Oh Marly!  We'll be praying for you, too .  In the meantime, make sure to stock up on bottled water, propane (for cooking on a camp stove if needed), batteries, and other necessities before the panic hits, and have your camping gear handy so if you lose power you can still have light and cooking abilities (like you don't know that already  ).  We're in the middle of a severe drought and the worst fire season in 30 years, so our weather woes are slightly different, but my thoughts will be with you and Florida as I watch NOAA for updates.  Been a tough year nationwide weatherwise.

My brother and his family moved to FL a couple months ago. This will be his first hurricane season. Irma is making us all very nervous. I don't know how everyone who has lived there for years does this year after year. I'm a wreck!! Between hurricanes and fires I've chewed off all my nails. 

My thoughts and prayers are with all of FL and CA and all those islands in the path.

I just really hope it stays out of the gulf and somehow steers towards texas.  A double whammy for them would be catastrophic....
This is gonna be a bad one, keeping all of florida in my prayers .

yea Lea its a good thing you ARENT  in Tampa they are saying its possibly in the path to getting hit this time :(( ALL that area :(( there is another one right behind Irma called jose but so far they are saying he SHOULD stay out to sea ( hopefully he does ) wow how exhausting this all is :((

I know and my roommate just went down there to pack up the rest of my stuff!  
She was gonna stay 3 weeks, but now I don't think so lol

A friend from Madrid currently lives in Miami.
She is trying to fly away but there are no flights available.
School has been canceled on TH and FR.
I hope everyone gets safe in time.

This is definitely an ugly one!  Praying for it to turn out to sea away from everyone.

If it continues along the current models, we are going to have a difficult time in Florida, with much of the state affected. Winds are presently 185 mph and the islands are going to be pounded.  Florida Keys are already being evacuated. 

Blessings to all my fellow Floridians and anyone else in the path of Irma.

Ditto!!! It's devastating to watch the news!!! 

We are in a weird cloud of smoke here. There are many fires burning in different mountain areas. It(with the sun) makes it look like we are living on Mars. The sunlight casts an orange glow. Our heat wave finally did break. We were only 98 degrees yesterday....as opposed to 110.
