1782 cats!?!

I can see an old been around the block animal, but this was a new release, I'm 300 short lol.
Looks like I fell flat on ths one so not buying thr power feed for thr hope of getting it, only if I had the other 300 cats. Oh well.

Am I the only one that thought 1400 would do it? and went on to other goals?

Ming if you have the pens you still have plenty of time to produce the last 300 and remember that you do get some regular cats in return when breeding, so don't give up just yet 

I haven't really thought about the amount needed for the event. But it sure is a whole lot kitty cats.

Thanks waiting for crops to finish, silly me tried to get the most from CAC, What was I thinking lol.
I will get them out, I've been riding the wire/skin of my teeth since before the neon's, I will looking forward to the day it won't be a run and blow on the picture to submit it sort of thing.

I knew I had cat feed in the barn and so I put in the maximum amount of PF I could mill at one time. Halfway thru, I ran out of cat feed. Sigh...what to do? Cancel PF to make cat feed? No way!

With 1200 cats I thought I had plenty, and was hoping to sell a bunch off in the market.
Now I realize I don't have enough even for the event!
Why was I thinking I'd only need 400 cats for the breeding event??

I have around 750 cats in the barn and 81 pens out.
295 PF in the barn too..
So as per my calculation I can produce 174 tabbies, which are 11 steps in the game.
Which means, I can get all 60 PF from event prizes, another 30 tabbies.
Need "only" 742 additional normal cats then.
81 pens harvested 2 (not 3) times a day gives 162 cats a day, means, I should have enough cats by the end of the event.
151 cat food in the barn, 187 in the mill, 100 elderberry trees out, so this all should actually be enough to finish the event.
Any suggestions???
I am still hoping, that we will get a BBD!!

EDIT: And in the final step we are getting 50 PF bak.. thats a 110 in total... not to bad for prizes

Yes, I would take down those trees and buy what's needed to make the feed instead and then sell the extra cats. Cats are going for around 17K now - just compare the price for the elderberries and see if it will pay off. I don't know the price of Elderberry on your mkt. but on mine it would be better business.

I cannot say for sure, but most likely there will be a BBD. If not I will not even do any part of the event.

Elderberries sell for 1300 - 1800 CC and oats are at 200-300 each.
catfood sells  for 10K-18K each and cats sell for 16K-23K at the moment.

Your idea is great, but..
cat food needs 7 minutes per portion and with 81 cat pens out, it needs 8:30 hours to mill the necessary amount, but cat production time with a normal cat pen is only 7:10 with water...
hmm... I have to rethink that.
