Picture Perfect strategy

here are my calculations for the event:

470 coloured photo paper (6 calla of each colour per paper)
150 silver photo paper (6 silverdew each)
plus the related calla per step 2 of each room

Total
6,070 cyan calla
7,320 magenta calla
4,820 yellow calla
900 Silverdew

Total event crops to grow: 18,210

Thanks clonahmon!  I haven't yet calculated but I'm sure someone will check your figures. 

I've looked over the Top 1000 (and the 1001-3000) prizes and I can't say I'm over excited about them.  Am I missing something?  

  they suck.

Dunno if it is a let down, compared too, as I can not find the prizes from the past 2 years this quickly...

Event Crops amount seems to be fine. 


But the drop Silverdew - 900 !! which we get only from harvesting the Event crops only. Phew !! 

This is what the FAQ states 

" Silverdew

You will get these drops while harvesting your Event plants only "

BTW, Sleepy, did you notice the OA FAQs state CCs worth of goods in the first three rooms?

only event plants.... i'm seriously contemplating skipping this event completely

I forgot to post in rumour thread, the rumour pictures had balance scales in their pictures which mean it is exchange value oriented event and not no of items required. I posted in that forum but forgot to post it here. 

Event the 4th MM rooms (Silver Room)  require Exchange values of MM produce or main farm products.

The CR does give CCs (unless they made a mistake). 

I think main farm excludes Baha which means no parrot feathers

I guess I'm going to give this one a pass. The costs seem pretty high just for 15k EP, TEP, and 5k CC per day. I will be gone most of the first day of the event anyway and I'm really disappointed in the awards for Top Farmer as well. I hope this isn't an indication of where the game is headed; I've been so happy the nearly two years I've been playing (and I know most of you have been playing a lot longer).

I don't get it. Go figure....
The HH is a save and plot all year to get prizzie others can only drool for... where is it?
As a drooler, I don't see where anything here is worth dumping the barn for, or what is my concern the in mass to hit that market with 10000's of CC's to buy items from me, to get to the "item" that's drool worthy.

Did I read this wrong?
