Re: Picture Perfect strategy
Going a little off topic here (with absolutely no fear of deletion!) but am I the only one who can't seem to log in after the maintenance - I notice there are people posting on the other forum but I can't access any of my farms.

Re: Picture Perfect strategy
illy, I was able to get to the forum (on another farm) using the link on the maintenance page. Then I logged out and tried to log in on a different farm. Now the maintenance page link doesn't work for me. So that may be why some are able to get there. Not sure why it no longer works for me but oh well.
HH prize my first year (2014) was the Chestnut King. Not sure what it does but I think it was better than this year's Rainbow thing. Rainbow thing is pretty but almost everything in the game is pretty. I wouldn't go for it just for "pretty".

Re: Picture Perfect strategy
so what you are saying is that there is no need or use to use fertile fields to set up for the event??? because drops only come from the event crops...???

Okay Mir I didn't go check. I have a bad memory - sorry. I see what you mean. And amazing they give us that when people complained about the prize last year
I don't like 24 hrs items either. But I like the challenge!

Re: Picture Perfect strategy
Thanks for the reassurance.
I am not sure how I am going to tackle this one. It was going to be my last "normal" event for Chevrefeuille and I was going to attempt the Top whatever - may even be able to get into the Top 3000 but what prizes! It hardly seems worth the effort ... but I have always wanted to have a go and never had the nerve or resources (though the latter is still debatable!).
I am thinking of doing both farms with 2x2s and, when I have enough for full fields, will use comfort fields ... then I can manage manual harvesting and then I can save the harvester coupons for another event.
This farm will hang on to its precious stock of goodies for another year - as long as the prizes are better. I am really not impressed with anything from this event. Am I being greedy or are these really meager rewards for such a (usually) momentous event? I am sure there was on where we could win the CAC and the ZAB recipes during a HH. Most of us couldn't remember if we had won it/them or not until we reached level 4 of the appropriate artisan workshop. I think I asked Teddy in Chat if I had won ZAB!
Well that's today's plan, it may change tomorrow!

Me too. I logged into the forum before the maintenance. Therefore was able to post. But now I am logged out of forum too.

Re: Picture Perfect strategy
Saving coupons is always wise!
On most of my smaller farms I don't have them, and I'm looking forward to the calendar. There just must be one or two in there...I hope.

Re: Picture Perfect strategy
I like your plan illy. I do have some FSQs with harvester but I could always put off using them. Comfort fields usually yield decent drops.
here today. Overcast with a light dusting of snow.

I hate the 24 hrs items: I don't get up at the same time every day So I have build my park and shipwreck with 10 hr items, gives me a nice buffer to harvest twice a day. I do care about the item, and I feel they have been too stingy with it. I'm so disappointed I don't even want to do it right now.
That was what I was thinking about - that you, broke, pnp, meba, banjamon would feel like this. It seems it is useless emptying of barn.
Dear mods !
Just to bring to your attention. I think today I am doing this a lot.
