Hostile Takeover - Strategy

well I'm up over -2200 diamonds on my flwrsndnc farm but I'm not going to worry about it I'm just going to keep chugging along at my own pace lol I'm probably pretty close to that on my marly farm too lol

I'm feeling optimistic - 299 total diamonds today - 6 bags done - almost 1/4 done - 
  can that be right?  

Way to go anna!  I started late, like 5 hours late  , but got 166 initial drops, I think it was.  While the first 10 seeds were percolating, I took advantage of the active chestnut and flower CRs and did 2 rounds of instant carnations, to bring drops up to 250.  I usually wait until almost the end of the event before I speed grow, but like everyone else, I've barely eked by on drops the last few events.  And, with the calendar not posted yet, I'm reluctant to wait in case we have another event 2 days after this one.   That being said, I'm at 336 drops thus far, with roses overnight (got home late, no time for carnations as have to get up in a few hours to spend afternoon in town  ), and 4 bags milled so far.  After this, I'll probably stick with event crops until get them all or almost all done.

In other news, I pulled a real bonehead last night.  Was farming poo on bear, and forgot to switch 1 field of chickens to overnight crops   .  Needless to say, drops weren't stellar there, lol.

Just in case you guys missed it, just like I did at first, THIS button gives you the gift list!! 

I just sold 3 lots of 100 manure at 1000 CCs instantly, and they were on page 4 of the listings.   What a great CC opportunity for young farms!  And looking at the preview calendar, with NO breaks at all, looks like prices may stay high for the foreseeable future.  

So far so good with this event, despite being gone all yesterday.  13 bags milled, 12 more to go, 90 hours left.  Love that we get the special candy CR giver right away, so smaller farms don't miss out on being able to complete that CR.

Me too - and the junks finally caught up with the drops - only 395 still needed.
I finally got a good carnation refinement - so growing carnations for the home stretch.

I finished event crops late last night. I pulled everything except 3 menageries and arboreatums. I have to say growing longer crops and having trees & animals out really helps with the drops!!!!!

I caved and bought the new premium. I thought since we get 7 free gifts that with premium it would be 8....so I wasn't excited about that aspect. But NO....we get 8 additional gifts to give out!!!!! SO Excited to send 15 gifts a day now!!!!!!

I too caved.  I'm not counting on the fact that I can continue this, but with my birthday money, i can at least try it out. i like the gifts too and I'm most certainly going to try out the farm restore! 
I wonder if we keep the neighbours if the premium runs out...?

Anyway... 

Please tell me I will make it!?! I always think I won't! 

Yes. Sure ! You will make it ! There is only 9 more to go and lot more days to play. I am at 17/25. So we both will make it.
