Malala Charity event
Hi All,
here are my calculations:
Tomatoes 312 give 10 gravel
Cabbage 415 gives 10 gravel
Pumpkin 495 gives 10 gravel
Aubergine 438 gives 11 gravel.
Total of fields 40 fields 1x2 and 35 fields 1x1 (and not as stated before editing 120 fields)
As far as I could see in the FAQs there are 57 gravels needed to reach ALL fields
and there are 41 gravels coming from the event tasks only. So the rest has to come from the event baskets to be bought.
Am I right or have I missed or misread something?
Please correct me if I am wrong or if I have miscounted anything!!
Good Luck to everybody

Re: Malala Charity event
I do not even know if the FAQ is correct, I have no time to check it with the other FAQ's in NL and DE forums. Mistakes are all over the place there atm.

Re: Malala Charity event
hopefully we can do without the gravel. I ain't spending squat right now. AND I will wait until we're sure of the faq being OK.

Re: Malala Charity event
Why in the HELL are they starting a 1 day event on Thanksgiving Day?!
Do they not understand that people have cooking to do and Guests coming?
When are we supposed to have time? Why couldn't they start this event on Friday??
Makes absolutely NO sense!

Re: Malala Charity event
The FAQ does indicate that unless we purchase a basket that gives gravel, we will not be able to fully open the fields nor will we get the party tickets and golden bananas from the lake and school landmarks.
Lots being introduced tomorrow on Thanksgiving Day (here in the US) with the charity event, wonder stables and the express train.
I'll have a late start to begin on Friday after everyone has left.
I haven't done the math yet to see how long it will take since we can't use any buffs other than water.
I wish the gravel were included in the FSQ rewards but I understand the whole point is to raise funds for the charity.

Re: Malala Charity event
So a new event where we can't prep, can't use buffs and can't get everything unless we spend real money. So much for a Free game.

The new Wonder Stables.
"All around the Mulberry bush, the Monkey chased the Weasel..."
This is one relative of a monkey that won't be chasing that weasel.

@Lea
@cali: it is for a charity, so I wouldn't mind too much. But as I am not spending any money on a game, I will put some money into our own local charity and not buy any basket. Means, I am willing not to get the golden banans or the party tickets.
Good Luck everybody participating

Re: Malala Charity event
I don't know what I'll be able to manage with this event. I have family staying with me until Sunday. I won't be farming tomorrow at all I'm hosting Thanksgiving this year. So it'll be crazy town here
I understand that gravel will mostly come from the baskets. I assume the baskets are to raise money for the charity. I have no problem spending if it is going to a charity but my question is how much of a percentage of the price goes to the charity? I know it says all revenue goes to the charity but I've seen this before and asked about the percentage and its 1-2%. Not in Farmerama just other charity fundraisers. And that makes me mad when they do that. Now if its 95-100% that to me is acceptable. Preferably a 100%
And I'm not sure I understand the whole event anyway. lol could be because my mind is going a million different directions today.

Re: Malala Charity event
Yes, I understand it is for charity and will probably bite the bullet to donate but I wonder if this is going to be the trend for all events, not just charity ones.

Re: Malala Charity event
Thanksgiving is not something they care much about, that is an American thing for them. We do not have it here.
First mistakes found already (IF THE NL FAQ IS CORRECT!!):
Seed Dispensers: Cabbage and Aubergine dispense every 6hours and not every 3hours
Tree of knowledge: Does not give dung but 2 gravel not plantable on event field
Minds in Bloom: Does not give gravel but the 6 dung not plantable on event field
For Science: Gives 3200 EP/TEP and not 3400
The amounts to deliver are the same for the veggies

Re: Malala Charity event
I don't know, but we can use our normal fields as normal farmers without the event blocking our fields.
That's a nice thing ;)
