It will just take time for them to book them to be used.

As I never had them on my fields I saw them in my inventory already before the event ended. They look the same, so as far as I see it the script to book them correctly has not run yet.

In my idea this is true as the left over event plants have not been booked as EP + CC either.

Event ended today. It's Friday. What can go wrong will go wrong, so they are waiting until they have the time to fix what does go wrong. If they had said Monday and what could go wrong went terrible wrong, and they need more time - people would be steaming. Cause people like to steam, so better be vague - less steam, and even a chance for some to be pleasantly surprised.
It does help to have a memory like a gold fish, by the time one circle in the bowl is completed it's been forgotten and all looks new.

Mythbusters did once upon a time test the memory span of goldfish, by making them swim a maze to reach the food. Jamie's goldfish managed to learn somewhat the route, while Adam's failed. I'm more of an Adam fish

Some further clarification about the items after the event ends:

As soon as the event ends, players will not be able to enter the playfield anymore.
All harvested crops will be rebooked automatically the next day.
All non-harvested crops will be rebooked within the next week by a script.
The special event giver items (tomato seed dispenser, cabbage seed dispenser, etc.) will be moved to the inventory by a script next week as well and receive their new values (EP/TEP).

Making us wait until sometime next week to be able to use the givers elsewhere is pretty crappy, IMO. That's thousands of lost EP/TEP we won't get back. And for those of us that donated to the cause and bought the CR and extras... well it's just EXTRA crappy.

Oh and just to clarify... I'm not steaming taptap

, just pointing out yet another instance how/where BP needs to try a little harder, especially when RL money is involved.

I agree with that Guinea, also because many many players never or hardly ever visits the forums so do not know and it is just confusing to see it but not able to use it.

There is no real excuse not to book them the hour after the event ends... Just my idea bout it.
