The Bengal tiger I encountered in 1984 with my fiancee at a Renaissance Festival north of Chicago. Some hippie buskers were peddling photos with their 500lb Bengal. The tiger was happily gnawing on a ham - which I was advise I should not attempt to share. Not sure who smelled worse the tiger or the hippies (it was the hippies.)

The Koala picture was at a sanctuary in Queensland, Australia. Some Australian states have banned this very tourist practice.

There was an alligator picture too - during an air boat tour of Louisiana bayou country. A 20 inch baby alligator was held by my daughter in the photo. None of us petted it but we did each handle it.
