Talk of the Town(B-day event) strategy

I'm not sure how I feel about this event yet. scratch head

Totals
12,250 Purple alum (7hrs)
1,120 Soaring seeds
12 Birthday beads
39 Birthday scissors

We can only grow on mainland fields....and it's another longtime grow crop. doh

I guess I will need to pull off everything except my menageries and arboretums.

Anyone else have any thoughts?????

Just going to keep on growing crops and donating. Not worrying whether I finish or not. don't know

. I got bored hmz2

growing only animals and a few trees since the last event (not used to so many days in a row of doing the same thing, lol), so I cleared my fields and planted carnations and melons (no water or manure) just a little while ago don't know

. Thought about leaving my trees out, but I decided to rip them out too and do as I usually do growing full fields of carrots, wheat and maybe lettuce in between the rounds of event crops while my CAC is running. We'll see how the poop sales go, then I'll decide whether to fill my baha fields with parrots or just grow/restock crops that are low over there.

I'm really beginning to despise stressing over the cruel amount of drops they require for these grow and throw events... takes a lot of fun out of it for me. BP better play nice this time fighty

Okay...just got back home....UPDATE: can be planted on main field,green meadow and baha plantation.
So NO rainforest or magical glade.....that's a weird configuration. flubbelub

Puppy requires too much of my attention to do any calculations so I was waiting for this thread thank you

The Birthday events are usually great fun and have been among my favourites for the past few years.

And this looks really good - I'm ready, after a well deserved break, to go all in. Bring it on!

The number of drops is a bit concerning but I've stopped worrying about them since I learnt about instant-finished crops. If I can't get enough from normal harvest I just do a few rounds of an "instant something" crop and it's solved.

Using the 3 fields described, it will take 7 harvests once you have all the starter seeds using CAC

Even though we have only 3 planting fields - the drops come from all 5 fields - that is good.

I want the upgrades for the 2017 giver, just cuz it's a milestone prize and I probably won't have another opportunity to get it (well maybe I could eventually get it thru a G&T, but really what is the point of getting it that way?). Plus... seriously, lol, I feel I deserve SOME kind of reward for sticking with this game even thru all the BS mood killing crap that has happened over on the En forum and chased so many off . Even if I have nowhere to put, it at least I have it lol, and all the goodies that come with it (kinda like a sicker, but better). And like I said, gives me something else to do for a while dedtired

GuineaUp - Great idea...about the poop farming....I'm going to put out my neon chickens and earn some $$$$!!!! big money

Plus, I've realized I'm getting low on them anyway. Also...I could be wrong, but I don't think B-day prizes can ever be gifted or traded.

Now....I've got to move my trees, menageries to the open fields. EEEEK...forgot to do it the last harvest.

I'd love, love to hear how many drops everyone gets their 1st harvest.
